Women's Golf Safari Jan 10 , 2026

ITINERARY: JAN 10TH 2026

ARRIVALS

Message Ikua on WA when you land. He and the team will be waiting for you if you booked early arrival with us.

Your breakfast on Sat Jan 10th is included +254 722 731 320. Early arrivals Jan 9th will be met by Ikua & the Believe Safari Team. Meals can be charged or paid for by cash or cc.

DAY 1 - Nairobi -official arrival day Sat Jan 10th

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO)

You are met at the airport by the Believe Safari team and transferred to the luxurious Ole Sereni Hotel. The restaurant will be open and you can charge meals to your credit card or pay cash or charge to your room.

Lodging: Ole Sereni Hotel

11am – walk over to the grocery store for anyone who wants to stretch their legs and grab some snacks 

7pm- Meet & Greet at Hotel Bar for whoever has arrived. You can charge any food and drink to your room or pay by cash or cc at the restaurant.

Included: Airport transfer to hotel, VIP check-in

DAY 2 - Nairobi Sun Jan 11th

This day is necessary to acclimatize after a long trip.

6am- Breakfast ( come 5 min early if you want to do a quick arm workout to wake you up and get the juices flowing- 5:55 Sharp!

630am- Safari day at NBO National park, Giraffe Centre, and The Sheldrick Elephant Rehab Centre.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and maybe some shopping at the women’s co-operative Bead Factory (optional)

730pm- Dinner at Emara Ole Sereni

Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Please ensure your golf bags are ready to go and downstairs tonight for easy facilitation tomorrow. Bags must be light, only the necessary things for 1 round please! and your 1 caddy gift and 3000 kshs for your caddy. Note, if your caddy is elderly and needs to take a pull cart you may need to pay them an extra 500 kshs or so. Lunch is included, you will need usd cash or ksh cash or your cc for your drinks. Fill your water bottle up at the hotel before you go and then there is a refill station at the club at the turn as well. Please ensure all your golf bags are clearly marked with your names.

DAY 3 - Karen Country Club - Mon Jan 12th Golfers: light bags, snack packed, take water

6am- Breakfast. – take a snack for your caddy as well. I find it hard to eat a full bfast so early so I will ask for some to go boxes and  usually pack a sandwich or something easy to eat for myself and my caddy and take it to go. NOTE : this doesn’t mean you should give yourself only 10 minutes! Pole Pole – no rushing! 

Depart hotel at 7am. Quick arm workout before we go!

Tee times start at 830am- crossover

Today we visit the Karen Country Club founded in 1937. A large part of the 18-hole course was built on the former coffee estate developed by the Danish pioneer Karen Blixen, whose life and times were depicted in the lyrical film· Out of Africa.

Golfers: caddy fee is payable to your caddy directly in cash 3000ksh after your round

Included: All transportation, Breakfast & Lunch, Green Fees

Lunch at the golf club, drinks charged separately

Non Golfing Activity: Nairobi city tour and museum.

Meet Up with the golfers at lunch to exchange stories.

All: Evening at your leisure. Sunset view from 4th floor steak house balcony restaurant is lovely. If you want to eat there please let them know in advance – and plan for a long slow dinner! pole pole!

We will be leaving the next day so luggage needs to be packed up tonight! Note- do NOT put your bags in their cases. When we get to the next place the bags will stay at reception and it is a long walk to your rooms. So your bags can stay at storage overnight tonight.

DAY 4 - Naivasha Tue Jan 13th

6 am- Breakfast. I usually call reception before I go for bfast and ask for luggage assistance and then go down for bfast. Remember, your golf bags are NOT in their cases.

7am- We leave for Naivasha in the Rift Valley. (3 hour drive)

We are entering the Great rift Valley – the cradle of mankind! and we will stop for a viewpoint on the way.

we will have lunch at the lodge (pack a snack for your caddy) and then tee off at 1:15pm and look for zebra, warthog and impala on the course! We are at The Great Rift Valley Course . 1 pm: chipping review  at the chipping green! Range available at 1230pm- let your caddy know and they will take you. 

Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Leave your golf bags at the front reception overnight. Leave your room keys with reception when you golf so that your roommate is not stuck waiting for you! ( one room key per room)

730pm – meet for cocktails, dinner at 8pm. 

DAY 5 - Naivasha Wed Jan 14th

Breakfast at 8am – pack a snack for your caddy, 9am Putting review clinic. 915am tee off. 

After the round have your caddy take your golf bag to your room so that you can pack it up. I will give you a duffel bag that you can use for safari and send everything else you don’t need. 

6pm- Please place golf bags and any non essential luggage outside your room for transport to Vipingo. You will not see this luggage for 3 days! You can take take your laundry with you as we go on safari! 

730pm – meet for cocktails, dinner at 8pm

DAY 6 - Travel to Masai Mara Thu Jan 15th

630am- Coffee & tea service

7am- Checkout and picnic breakfast en route to airstrip for small plane ride to Masai Mara. Be ready for safari, cameras, binos, hat etc

Arrive to camp for a late lunch(by 3pm), stay and settle into camp. Good day to pack a snack!

Evening: enjoy camp, send in your laundry

7pm cocktails, 8pm dinner

Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Masai Mara: Mara Crossings Camp: You are now where my soul lives! you’ll see why when you get here and you will get it! I’m so happy I get to show you this!

NOTE: you are in the bush! when it is dark, do not walk unaccompanied to your tents or to dinner etc. Masai guides will be there for you!

DAY 7 - Masai Mara Fri Jan 16th

Mara Crossings Camp Full Day Game Drive

6am- Coffee & Tea service

615am- Leave for sunrise game drive, picnic breakfast on the way back to camp for lunch. (exact time may shift due to sunrise time)

430 pm- Back out for sunset game drive.

note: this is a long day of game driving, we cannot predict what time we will get back for lunch. Our hope is 2pm.

DAY 8 - Masai Mara Sat Jan 17th

Mara Crossings Camp

Full Day Game Drives

6am- Coffee & Tea service

6:15am- Leave for game drive, picnic breakfast and then off to visit the masai village. Back to camp for lunch (2pm)

5:00 pm- Back out for sunset game drive.

Note: this is a long day of game driving, we cannot predict what time we will get back for lunch. Our hope is 2pm.

Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 9 - Fly to Vipingo Ridge Sun Jan 18th

Set among 2,500 acres gated community, and your 4 bedroom golf villa – home for the next 3 nights, and also where my heart lives! this is my home, and I will stay at my house not far from your villa.

7am- Breakfast at camp

9am- Leave for airstrip. Game drive along the way. 2.25 hr small plane flight to Vipingo.

Luxuriate in your villa upon arrival.

NOTE: Clubhouse is available if you need to buy lunch upon arrival.

6pm- Meet for Dinner at the clubhouse rooftop

DAY 10 - Mon Jan 19th Vipingo Ridge PGA course

Make coffee in your villas! french press

6:30am – meet your caddies at putting green

6:45 tee off split tees.- One golf cart mandatory per foursome. Designate one person to pay at proshop and everyone please contribute $10 each to that person.

Please be off the course by 11:30am

Buffet brunch after your round

2:00pm- Visit the Indian Ocean private access beach club (10 min drive) for the warmest water you have ever dipped your toes in! Wear your suits, towels provided. Lots of shade. 4:00pm depart

6:00pm- Dinner at Sundowner restaurant onsite- Included

DAY 11 - Tue Jan 20th: Vipingo Ridge PGA Course

Make coffee in your villas! french press

6:30am – meet your caddies at putting green

6:45 tee off split tees.- One golf cart mandatory per foursome. Designate one person to pay at proshop and everyone please contribute $10 each to that person.

Please be off the course by 11:30am

Buffet brunch after your round

 

6:00pm- Farewell dinner at my house!

DAY 12 - Depart for Nairobi- Wed Jan 21st

Relax, sleep in, have a leisurely morning as you prepare for your return journey home.

12:00noon- All luggage outside your villa for collection.

12:30pm- Check out and transfer to Mombasa airport — en route visit Wema Centre  and tour this incredible project that rehabilitates street connected kids. “Love Never Fails”. Bring water, it’s a 1 hour bus ride. Leave Wema Centre at 3pm for the airport.

18:10pm- Flight to Nairobi. Arrival at 1910. You have loads of time to make your connections.

Ikua will meet you and transfer you to the international terminal for your flight out.

Golfing Guide:

  • Pace of play is the paramount consideration!
  • Caddies may or may not be knowledgeable on club selection or read of the greens, but they will find your ball and clean your clubs!

Caddy Guide:

  • Keep your bags as light as possible as inventory of your bag takes time and it is done to protect the caddy from accusations of theft
  • Pack a snack for your caddy. Power bar or grab some bread and a banana from the buffet. or make a sandwich
  • 3000 shs caddy fee to your caddy directly after your round, plus your gift you brought for them
  • they may not wear it, they may sell it! you are giving freely with no expectations!

Tipping Guide:

  • Please bring $1 usd per meal for waiters (leave on table after the meal)
  • $1-$2 per drink to bartender
  • $1-$2 to porter
  • $10-room steward for multi-night stay
  • $250 in cash to Far to handle all the major tips for kitchen, security, drivers and guides etc.
