Golfing Guide:

  • Pace of play is the paramount consideration!
  • Caddies may or may not be knowledgeable on club selection or read of the greens, but they will find your ball and clean your clubs!
  • Remember, you know your game better than anyone else, so don’t rely too heavily on the caddies advice if it does not work for you- they are not formally trained though they have been given some advice along their years of golfing and many are golfers of varying levels!

Caddy Guide:

  • Keep your bags as light as possible as inventory of your bag takes time and it is done to protect the caddy from accusations of theft
  • If you are having a granola bar as a snack, pack one for them as well. It may be their only meal.
  • Sometimes caddies will ask you for a drink at 9- let them know you are happy to get them a drink after the round is over. If you do it at 9 it will take too long. There is a water station for the caddies at the turn.
  • 3000 shs caddy fee to your caddy directly after your round, plus your gift you brought for them
  • they may not wear it, they may sell it! you are giving freely with no expectations!

Tipping Guide:

  • Please bring $1 usd per meal for waiters (leave on table after the meal)
  • $1-$2 per drink to bartender
  • $1-$2 to porter
  • $10-room steward for multi-night stay
  • $300 in cash to Far to handle all the major tips for kitchen, security, drivers and guides etc.
